Information collection and use
To deliver our Readin Service, we need to process some types of personal information about you. We collect personal data from our customers (“Customers”). We also may collect and host the personal data of our Customers’ end users (“End Users”) when our Customers use the Service. This Policy outlines the information that Docstream gathers, how the information is used, and your options to access, correct, or delete such information.
Your privacy rights
You have the right to require access, correction or deletion of the personal data we are processing about you. You also have the right to require limited processing of your personal data, the right to object to the processing as well as the right to require data portability. If you want to exercise your rights, send us an e-mail at firstname.lastname@example.org. You also have the right to raise a complaint about our processing to a supervisory authority (in Norway: Norwegian Data Inspectorate). For processing activities based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
Disclosure and sharing of personal data
To provide our Service, we rely on using some third party tools, including data processors. These are independent companies or legal entities that process certain personal data on behalf of us. These third parties have access to your Personal Information only to facilitate on our behalf and are obligated not to disclose or use it for any other purpose.
We may use sub-processors to provide our Service. Listed below are sub-processors with whom we may share personal data:
- Auth0 – Identification provider
- Digital Ocean – Storage, hosting and compute provider
- Plausible – Analytics
- SendGrid – Email delivery
- Hubspot - CRM
- Tripletex – ERP
Cookies are files with small amounts of data, which have anonymous unique identifiers. Cookies are sent to your browser from a website and stored on your computer’s hard drive.
We collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit the Service («Log Data») or interact with the Readin Website. This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol («IP») address, browser type, browser version, the resource address that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.
All data we collect may be used to:
- provide, operate, improve and promote the Service
- enable your access to the Service
- monitor and analyze statistics of the Service
- process, complete and send you transaction information and invoices
- provide customer service and support
- send commercial communication
- comply with legal obligations
We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your Personal Information, though we cannot guarantee its absolute security. In case of a breach of security leading to the accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, Customers’ Personal Information, Docstream will inform the Customer of the breach without undue delay, including a summary description of the potential impact and a recommendation on measures to mitigate the possible adverse effects of the breach.
Your information, including Personal Information, may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction, where the data protection laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.
